(1hr + 20min Q&A) – Sun Feb 7
In the earliest days, the role of shaman was that of fire keeper, that of myth maker. The universal myth is the story of the hero leaving their ordinary world and going into a heightened world of adventure in order to bring back wisdom or healing for the benefit of their community. Look deeper and you’ll see that this structure has its roots in the visionary experience of the shaman. This panel specifically focuses on the third act of the hero’s journey: the part where the protagonist brings the lessons back and weaves them into their ordinary world.
