James Jesso

Head shot late 2014*Via weblink – James W. Jesso is a crowd-funded Canadian author and public educator who is dedicated to helping to distill an accessible language for understanding what it means to cultivate and live a life of psychospiritual maturity.

In doing so,  he looks to  engender regenerative, coherent, and public discourse on psychedelics, sexuality, meditative practice, and conscious relationships — the means by he believes psychospiritual maturity can be most powerfully developed.

He has authored numerous articles, essays, and videos, done radio, podcast, and print interviews, and toured across the world giving lectures and facilitating public discussions on a variety of subjects. Jesso has given over 40 public presentations since the start of 2013. Most recently, he has taught in Peru on plant-based psychotherapy while touring the jungle, studying and exploring the use of Ayahuasca as a spiritual tool.

He has published two books, Decomposing The Shadow: Lessons From The Psilocybin Mushroom (2013) and Soundscapes & Psychedelics (2014). His third book, The True Light Of Darkness, is a deep and vulnerable look into the entheogenic experiences that brought him out of depression and into his creative passions, was released in the summer of 2015.
